Men's Club Update.....

The first round of the Club Championship has been completed with some interesting results. The second round is being played at present and to be completed no later than this Sunday July 19^th.

Preban Rasmussen once again had the low gross firing a 74 in the Men’s Club on Sunday, winning 3 balls, Fred Fredrickson was next with a 75 taking home 2 balls, followed by Colin Hamilton’s 76 who won 1 ball.

On the net side of the day Wayne Johnstone shot a 63 to win three balls, Gary Korven had a 62 winning 2 balls and Stephen Forrest had a 66 to win 1 ball.

Closest to the pins were won by Gary Korven who took home $13 for the Charity KP on # 2, Dennis Debolt on #4, Sam Parhar on # 13, Al Wright on # 17 and Ken Fong for his second shot on # 6.

Next up for the Men’s Club is the par point’s competition to be held on Sunday July 19. This is an individual event Sponsored by The Dairy Queen, with a shotgun start at 8AM. Sign up in the Pro Shop in foursomes or as a single and Brian will put you in a group. Every man for himself by compiling points according to how you shoot. For every double bogie –2 points, Bogie –1. par 1 point, Birdie 2 points, eagle 4 points, double eagle 6 points all net scores. Breakfast will be available starting at 6:30 Have fun boys!

This Coming Monday July 20 is the next Stableford Tournament, with a shotgun start at 8AM. Please register in the Pro Shop with your foursome or as a single and you will be put in a group.
